F House

F House is an architect's home and office. By turning the 1st-floor office and cafe into a place where townspeople can casually drop in, the project attempts to foster community connections. The idea was that by sharing parts of everyday life in a casual and enjoyable way, a more livable community could be fostered. The area has a network of plants to increase and share, and designers wanted to visualize this in the architecture and establish it as part of the local culture. The architecture is conscious of the network in every aspect.

Mijan

Drawing inspiration from local buildings with sloping roofs, this architectural design blends traditional and modern elements. The wooden sloping roof provides a cozy atmosphere inside and a striking shape outside. Adding modern touches created a design that harmoniously blends with the surroundings. The solid form feels powerful and safe, while the fluid and corner shapes, warm colors, and unique floor materials inside create a cozy feel. The second conventional area elevates the viewer's eye level, presenting different points of view.

Kirin Island

Kirin Island is an exhibition center in Jining, Shandong Province, China. The building forms the first phase of an industrial park. The center is used for planning exhibitions and investment promotion in the early stage, and will later become an urban exhibition hall linked to the surrounding public space. The design follows the idea of a round sky and a square earth, so a square building holds a round courtyard. A frame-shear wall structure with a span of 18.6 metres creates indoor space without pillars. Overhangs of 10.3 metres on the north and south sides form semi-outdoor areas.

The pavilion contains a snack bar, a beverage table, a bathroom and rest steps. The design explores the softness of concrete and frames selected views of the surrounding landscape.
