Press Glass

The office buildings are usually established in city centers or at important communication junctions. However, the goal was to design Press Glass headquarters on a green plateau. Triangular plan and soft lines adds dynamics and ease to the entire structure. The design has a clear principle to locate offices along the external facade, while the relax and open space zones would be placed around the inner courtyard. Thanks to this, project takes full advantage of the natural surroundings and light.

House in Repino

The house with a total area of 1000 sq. m is located in Repino, Leningrad region. The project had one strong stylistic limitation: all the residences in that villa community had to be in a Wright-like style. The result is a completely original project but with consideration of this requirement. The house is well integrated into the landscape. The aim is to preserve as many existing trees as possible; some of them will go through the canopies to create a unique rhythm and better architecture and nature relationship.

Qingdao Marine Park Exhibition Center

The Exhibition Center is located in Huangdao District, Qingdao. To its west is Mount Dazhu, and to its east is Lingshan Bay, facing the Yellow Sea. It is a new industrial park specializing in the marine industry and smart technology. The Exhibition Center is not only a core building of the new district, but is also representative of the image and position of the entire intelligent park, and has unique importance. Main roads, metro tracks, and other large-scale urban features form the background of the Exhibition Center.

Haikou Bay

This impressive "dynamic with the flow" and iconic landmark hotel allows urban view porosities to embrace both city and ocean. Spiral and the sloping urban roof garden of the hotel's ballroom promotes urban pedestrians' access and various activities. Almost 300m long building is cut into segments to bring down the overwhelming street scale and avoid "the wall effect". Single loaded corridor and S shape building is designed to allow maximum building envelope for all rooms having ocean view, which also satisfies the challenging 50m building height limit.

Open Village

Open Village is an arthouse renovated from a decommissioned factory. While the brick façade of the cinema established a visual coherence with the neighboring urban fabric, the cinema’s irregular form and polychromatic exterior instilled the creative space with vibrancy. This new landmark became the cultural destination for events within the village where the cinema is situated.
