Coastal

The project stands on the shore of Xiamen Tong'anwan Bay. From the start to the completion, the architects tried to respond to two questions: firstly, how to deal with the relationship between architecture and site; secondly, how to maximize the public coastal space. The design highlights the architecture to provide spaces for people’s public activities. The key point of the project design was how to endow the building with a public attribute.

Yinchuan Sunac City

The building adopts a minimalist style, its circular volume and soft and neat curve elements are integrated into the field design, like a strand of silk floating on the lake, naturally and elegantly surrounding the Gedi Lake. The half-moon roof extends slantingly towards the lake, and the thin perforated columns are scattered freely and rhythmically under the two wings of the roof. The built-in light strips glow a little bit of starlight under the night sky, lifting the roof lightly and floating in the night sky.

MOME

The main goal of this design was to create such a learning and working environment which revolutionizes the 21st century academic art practice. To accomplish this goal the architects were working hand in hand with the university staff while coming up with the plans, inventing inner spaces that serve as a transformable, stimulating background for creative activities. The suspended structure of Base maximizes the freedom to use different floors, and the horizontal and vertical transparency of building A encourages interdisciplinary dialogue, while UP provides a constantly changing revelation.

Willow Shores

The project is sited in Taihu New Town. It uses modern materials such as rolled steel sections, aluminum plate, stone and glass, and features a light metal double-hipped roof, offering a new visual impression. The architects hoped to use innovative techniques to embody the essence of classic gardens in a modern environment, making it a practitioner that returns culture to tradition, creates elegance from art and produces a poetic flavor from life. This project is built as an innovative example of a neo-Chinese style that mixes modernity and tradition.

Shenzhen Transsion Holdings Headquarters

The design brief is a 54970sqm commercial complex comprising one 150m high rise tower and ancillary retail podium. It locates in Nanshan District in Shenzhen City, China. The program of the headquarters includes office, retail. The client envisions the project not only to be an iconic landmark but also a cultural multi-level communal space of this region which is in line with Client's Corporation, leading tech company advocating the concept of openness, cooperation and sharing.

Wenlan Mansion

The project is located in the tourism section of West Mountain's Dian Lake, Kunming. Facing the West Mountain, the site offers an open view and is surrounded by an abundance of ecological resources. The project leverages the height differences of the area and its surrounding landscape resources. The architect strives to create vertical buildings with both style and functions, and to build an open community that shares both urban like neighbourhood and the green resources of nature at the same time.
