Situated in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, this project boasts an excellent 270 degree view of tea fields to the south and the Sichuan-Tibet Railway to the north with the tea shore sitting between the undulating hills and surrounded by a green sea of tea. The design narrows the distance between the building and the environment with a focus on visitors' experience and less impact on the nature.
Continue readingThis small courtyard is located in a hutong in Beijing, where the client lived with her grandparents when she was a child. However, the house has been dilapidated due to years of wandering. The purpose of this renovation is to create a living space suitable for the modern lifestyle for the client. Mirror glass is used on the ground and walls of the yard. The unique reflectivity of the material allows the surrounding hutongs, trees, and sky to be reflected on the ground of the yard, which brings more possibilities to space.
Continue readingThe design item is RGB Hotel, located in Kangding, Sichuan, a beautiful place nestling under a mountain and near a river. The designer perfectly integrates the local natural landscape, primitive architecture and modern life to create a place for people who live in the city for a long time. The RGB project is mainly about two parts: reception and leisure area and accommodation area. The building and the surrounding natural environment are perfectly integrated, giving off an extraordinary atmosphere as if done by the spirits.

Dongpu town, where the project is located, has been the center of Shaoxing wine industry since ancient times. The project is associated with traditional Chinese construction methods, and responds to complex functional construction demands with a unified modular design language, responds to the site and history, infuses the vitality of the Times into the thousand-year-old ancient town, and inherits the yellow rice wine culture in a dynamic way.

The design aims to make flexible use of the complex terrain of the original site, based on the architectural forms and elements of traditional mountain villages, combined with modern technology and materials, to create a wild, simple and quiet atmosphere of the park. The architectural style of the design is intended to show the collision and integration of traditional landscape and modern elements. The guest room of Villa takes the original local ecological village as its theme, trees and winding paths.
Continue readingThe project is a community center built for Poly Group, and it needs to be used as a sales center in the early stage. Architecture uses a continuous wall across the site, with a winding trend, staggered left and right, as if folded. The linear and zigzag wall not only shapes the garden, but also serves as the supporting structure itself, creating a coherent, column-free interior space.
