Warm Transparency

Conventionally, a hospital tends to be a space that has poor natural color or material due to artificial structure material to improve the functionally and the efficiency. The memorial also includes a lecture hall, a temporary exhibition hall and a winter garden. Daylight was studied in detail to reduce energy use.

Double height living space with glazed bridges is the focal area of the house connecting all rooms and providing views in and out. The long design surrenders to nature and follows the land.
