Nagomi

The new welfare facilities was designed to meet the needs of a growing workforce. The word Nagomi means to ease the mind in Japanese. The new welfare facilities was designed to provide a more relaxed atmosphere. The design of the new building is based on the concept of a curved building with a sloping roof. We proposed a large space with a characteristic sloping roof and curved building. The design of this building is based on the concept of the factory's rechargeable battery cells, and is in harmony with the surrounding landscape and nature.

Yida Creation City

The floating shape of the exhibition center is wrapped by milky white translucent U-shaped glass without redundant decoration. It is like a natural simple sculpture. Taking floating polysilicon as the design concept, it presents the image IP of the information technology industry in a simple and powerful polyhedron form, realizes the display and exhibition function, talks with the north and South landscape parks, and transmits the image of the park with a sense of future and science and technology

The North Teaching Cluster of Zjuic

The International Campus of Zhejiang University (Zjuic) locates beside Juanhu Lake, China, occupying a land of 800,000 square meters with a gross floor area of 400,000 square meters. The campus's overall planning and design is based on 1 axis, 2 circles, 3 centers, and 4 zones. It absorbs the forms of relevant spaces and facades worldwide. The design enhances the guidance, fluidity, openness and publicity of the building complex by bridging the site’s north-south corridors and setting clear open spaces and routes.

L011 Shingle

Through the poetic dimension of natural light, the discovery of shadow, and the light touch of sunlight, rooms were created with the intention to touch the heart and soul. The art of controlling the natural and artificial light in the interior concept brings an immediate physical involvement of the people in the changing seasons' underlines the volatility of the reality and the interdependence between humans and the natural environment. This requires an organic merge between architecture and nature.

Disappeared Manufacturing

The overall concept is based on the traditional house in Taiwan, which reminds one of the good old times. Constructed via modern methods, the traditional vocabulary is reinterpreted through steel structure, glass and etc. A courtyard represents "Cheng" (a place for sun drying in traditional Taiwanese housing) is surrounded by different functional spaces. The mezzanine platform between two floors allows the flexibility of events. Allowing workshops, exhibitions and commercial events take place, the building is now a happening venue open for all, achieving a more positive corporate image.

Dawn of Spring

The project is located within International Eco-Aquapolis, Zhengzhou. The building echoes with the street corner through the subtly-cut blocks. It's a three-story volume, with the second and third floors lifted above the transparent block at the bottom. Taking white color as the main hue, the architects restructured the facades through the combination of points, lines and planes. The upper facades of the main building body are composed of perforated plates, while the lower parts are clad in glass, which blur the boundaries between spaces.
