Ho-House

Ho-House is a private residence built in a crowded residential area of Takarazuka, Japan. The design begins with the idea of cutting and folding a sheet of paper. Thin white slabs of reinforced concrete are folded to shape the space, and the slab edges are cut so the structure appears thinner than it is. Custom sash hardware makes the openings look seamless. Behind the parking space, a courtyard terrace forms a private area that connects the living room, dining room, bathroom and children's room. The house opens to the sky and links the interior with nature.

The Lake Art

The Lake Art is an art gallery set on a lawn beside Xinglong Lake in Chengdu, China. The gallery replaces a small coffee shop and covers 600 square meters. Solid geometric volumes are cut and combined to shape a facade that recalls a stone sculpture, so the building is easy to recognize next to the natural scenery. The spatial forms refer to the mountains, trees and clouds of the city. A waterproof ceiling, designed as a geometric image of clouds, responds to the humid local climate. The interior is planned for art exhibitions and international cultural exchange.

The Osmanthus Grace

The Osmanthus Grace is a sales center building located in the Yuhua District of Shijiazhuang. The two-story northern block is almost entirely glazed. Slender steel columns support the canopy overhang. The building will later serve as a public service facility.

Dowell DoThink

Dowell DoThink is a residential complex in Hangzhou, China, covering 103566 square meters. The design combines contemporary urban residences with courtyards and high-rise residences set in gardens. Each household has an independent private courtyard, inspired by the traditional Jiangnan courtyard, where one house is served by six courtyards. Stone, natural stone coating and high-grade paint create a unified and modest facade, while inlaid metal lines add rhythm to the minimalist tone. The entrance landscape, central garden and cluster garden add shared open space.
