Wuhan Liantou Tower

Phoenix, the god bird and local cultural symbol, is the inspiration for the tower crown, podium roof, and entrance facade design. Elegant, simple, and phoenix identity are designed for this local state-own client. Grand arrival lobby, auditorium, exhibition space, staff activity zones, reception atriums, sky garden are evenly distributed in the building to promote internal communication and energy. Delicate facade articulations make this building stands out from the surrounding to proudly present the client's pursuit of quality and exquisites.

Pingjiang Wonder

As the first building amid the city complex turned from old town to the city gateway, the bookstore was expected to merge into the different development stages naturally. Explorations based on Negation Logic oriented the design to a delicately-cut crystal. Being divided horizontally into 2 parts, the upper part of the building was faceted and battered the sliced facades by a vertical angle of 4-6 degrees towards the sky, as a new town pioneer, while the transparent lower part was fit into the human scale for better integration into the culturally unique streets.

Headquarters Complex

The project is located in the Creative Media Technology Park (CMTP) in Changsha. The site is adjacent to the Liuyang River and the central axis of the park. The building height limit of the site is 120m, which is lower than the surrounding parcels in the CMTP. Therefore, the design seeks to create a unique city landmark by linking three towers. The three towers are arranged in an encircling manner along the river and connected in the air, ensuring the maximum view toward the river.

Chang An Temple

The design of the temple is based on the concept of ancient oriental architecture and integrated with the contemporary architectural elements. Besides, the uniqueness of the main temple, the landscape architecture is created through a Zen landscape garden with both Japanese cardinal red gazebo and Buddhist poem calligraphy crafted stones. Hence, it evoked the scene of the integration of the modern era and the ancient oriental aesthetic.

Ju Long Plaza SCPG Incity

Creating energetic urban public space with pedestrian friendly scale while respecting the existing urban context is the core design principle for this large scale urban complex. Designers opened up the northeast corner of the site, right cross street from Hongjialou Cathedral which is a historical landmark of the city, and dedicated it as a cultural plaza. At the center of this plaza is the renovated 100-year-old Sister House. This unique experience marks the entry point of the vibrant 24-hour leisure and entertainment district.

CR Land Luyang MiXC

A series of signature spaces have been created, such as the sky sports park with the first ever cantilevered running track on a shopping mall in mainland China. With a well-designed retail circulation, the designers fit a horse-track loop inside the 75 m depth of floor plan so they can accommodate more than 220 tenants with a 76,115 sqm GFA, which gives visitors a more diverse shopping experiences. A unique green space is also introduced at every level of the mall to enhance indoor and outdoor connections.
