King Boat

King Boat is a cultural museum dedicated to the King Boat Ceremony, located in Donggang, Taiwan. The five-story building has a white facade set above a wave-like base that recalls the sea. The facade is clad in glass fiber reinforced concrete, chosen for its texture and its resistance to salt and humidity. Folded lines and recessed entries lead to a central atrium lined with expanded aluminum mesh, which filters light and sound. A full-size King Boat replica is displayed under natural light, and a rooftop deck offers views of the harbor.

Horizon Shade

Horizon Shade is a motorized sunshade system designed for large architectural facades. The system uses a seamless single panel that spans up to 20 meters, serving villa terraces and commercial openings. Precision extruded aluminum profiles, high strength coil tubes, and zipper guided side rails resist bending and keep the fabric stable across the full span. An automatic balancing mechanism regulates tension and prevents distortion. Operation is possible by remote control, wall switch, or smart home system. Shading is treated as an extension of the facade.

Higeta Building

Higeta Building is a seven story headquarters in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, designed for a long established soy sauce maker. The reinforced concrete structure is wrapped in anodized aluminum louvers set at a pitch of 300 mm. The louver angles vary to reduce southwest sun and to protect privacy, and the surface recalls a wheat field moving in the wind. A deep black wall coating strengthens the shadows and refers to fermentation. Inside, a central light court brings daylight into the narrow plan and supports seasonal natural ventilation.
