Taipei Weather Station

The Taipei Weather Station is a meteorological facility built in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Three buildings hold two weather bureau departments and a multifunctional room, joined by an undulating three-dimensional roof. Reinforced concrete gives resistance to typhoons and earthquakes, while Corten steel fins and deep roof overhangs provide shade, light and views. The fins move with the wind and return to their original position through a cable suspension system. The outdoor space between the buildings holds weather measurement instruments.

Changchun Aerospace Expo

Changchun Aerospace Expo is a cultural building for aerospace exhibitions and education, set in a protected wetland in northeast China. The curved form recalls celestial silhouettes and the organic shapes of the wetland. A low-profile layout with a maximum height of 18 meters limits the impact on the site. The accessible first-floor roof joins the surrounding park. A custom steel framework carries the complex curved geometry, and an integrated skin of glass and metal panels provides insulation for the cold climate. The total floor area is about 4500 square meters.

MRC Vison

Marche Vison is a food market built in Taki town, Mie prefecture, Japan. The complex is divided into four wings set under large curved roofs. Stepped slabs are linked by slopes, and the pitch of the wooden frames is aligned to form one continuous space. Smaller volumes stand beneath the roofs, creating a walking area of alleys and plazas. The open-air space under the roofs keeps visitors in contact with the seasons and reduces energy use. Rain falls from the eaves as a curtain, and local wooden louvres face the expressway.

Shenzhen Art Museum

Shenzhen Art Museum is a cultural complex that joins an art museum and a library in a dense urban district. The two buildings are shaped like a pair of hands that enclose a shared central space. Public platforms on several levels sit between the two volumes and are sheltered by a large cantilevered roof built as a truss steel structure. A double layer curtain wall system shapes the indoor light and reduces the cooling load. Prefabricated construction was used. The complex offers a calm setting for exhibitions and cultural exchange.

Skyline Bay

Skyline Bay is a community center built in Chengdu, China. The building has a construction area of 920 square meters and a two-story double-height layout that forms a semi-enclosed space with partitions but no full separation. The facade is clad in silver-white aluminum plate and champagne gold perforated aluminum plate, shaped into flowing curves that recall butterfly wings. Curved lines continue inside, creating quiet corners for reflection. The design draws on the nearby Shaxi waterway and wetland park and follows a waterfront island concept.
