CC House

A serene retreat nestled in nature's embrace, this single story four bed house in northern Kerala, near Wayanad, is a harmonious blend of simplicity and uniqueness. Designed to respect its surroundings, the dark textured building features asymmetric c shapes mirroring a central tree. An open courtyard and wide sit out seamlessly integrate indoors with outdoors, while a minimalist interior showcases thoughtful furniture design. Rubble masonry and glass windows with wooden frames create a rustic yet modern aesthetic, echoing the tranquility of its natural setting.

Anji Creative Design Center

The ACDC (Anji Creative and Design Center) is located in Xilong Village, Anji County, Zhejiang Province, a famous white tea producing area in China. Completed in August 2023, with a gross floor area of 8320 sqm, the establishment of ACDC seeks to promote the modernization of the countryside in China through design and creativity. While introducing the concept of urban communities and urban population to the countryside, it seeks to bond the urban and the rural.

249 Design Hotel

The 249 Design Hotel is a retrofit project inspired in the German vernacular architecture. Located in the tourist city of Gramado, the result was a project that creates a dialogue between contemporary and existing architecture in a respectful and harmonious way, using materiality as an agent of integration of everything. Steel, wood and stone are the connectors that unite the whole and bring the external area into the interior of the building. The north of the project was that we made all decisions thinking in the integration between the design and the hotel guests.

Jenga

The project is a public building at the entrance of a residential community, occupying 1200 square meters and housing four main functions: commercial space, community lobby, property management office, and equipment room. However, space constraints arise due to setbacks from adjacent buildings and redline restrictions. Drawing inspiration from the childhood game Jenga, the design integrates each functional area like interconnected blocks, resulting in a cohesive and unified exterior façade, enhancing overall unity.

Woyun Platform

The Woyun Platform is the entrance exhibition center of the Giant Panda National Park, taking the geological features of local bamboo forests, mists, and glacier debris as architectural imageries. The bamboo forest on the ground floor is used as a rural living room, which is a feedback to the surrounding villages; the suspended mists in the middle is used as a cultural display space; the debris on the top is used as a leisure space.

210 Bloor

210 Bloor is a 29-storey mixed-use building home to 42 residential units, 126m2 of retail space and 3 levels of below-grade parking. The development will result in a gross floor area of 15,589m2 with an overall density of 20 times the area of the lot. The design features a mirrored glass triangular tessellated geometric pattern on the east and west facades, which are designed right to the property line. The mirrored finish of the hexagonal panels creates a canvas of reflected light and forms.
