This single family house, Home FT3, was conceived by following the highest sustainable principles and to offer the inhabitants the maximum comfort in a quiet urban environment. The natural light shapes the spaces of this contemporary architecture piece in the city of Mogliano Veneto, Italy. The garden and the swimming pool are integral part of the design concept and a fun part to the architecture design. Home FT3 is designed for a family of five persons.
Continue readingThe design is a proposal for the new BSP Security Plant Complex is a unique public building that incorporates planning principles for the future to demand a highly secure, flexible, and adaptable floor area as technology constantly improves the production process. The living facade is a showcase of over 250 endemic Philippine trees and an exposition of tropical plants. A constant display of life that shields the building from direct sun exposure and minimizes thermal heat gain while providing air ventilation.
Continue readingInside, the house is defined by two courtyards, one large and the other small, that are arranged in parallel. The main courtyard is on the south side and features a bamboo grove that draws the eye when one steps into the entryway. A smaller slit-shaped courtyard on the north side is also dotted with plantings and serves as a lightwell, filling the first-floor living room and entryway as well as a second living room upstairs with pleasant, diffuse light.

Its circular design is inspired by volcanic craters, hot springs, and lakes, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. Visitors can explore three distinct ring paths: a tranquil interior gallery, an observation deck on the exterior walkable roof, and a park loop trail with large-scale sculptures. The visually permeable façade emphasizes a timeless connection to the landscape while art pieces are displayed against Myvatn's stunning backdrop.
Continue readingThe project consists of partial reconstruction and complete visual transformation of an existing house built in pseudo-traditional style. The main idea has been to achieve the exactly opposite effect: to have a contrasting, memorable, minimalistic and contemporary architecture. The biggest challenge of the project has been to reduce the cluster of geometries and to emphasize the constructive principle of the building by making some spatial and organizational improvements of the interior.
Continue readingThis project is the headquarters for Kohan Ceram Brick Manufacturing Company, including showroom, sales office, and a guest unit. Situated alongside a highway in Tehran, this project marks the boundary between the residential neighborhood and the freeway in the urban fabric. The main criterion was to remain neutral in the urban scale while creating a tangible entity in the local scale. The brick were used as the main representative of the company. The brick module not only forms the façade, but also forms the entirety of the project both on the interior and the exterior.
