Villa 22 is a private house built into a slope in the rural landscape near the Meuse river in the south of the Netherlands. The name refers to the 22 degree incline of the site. The concrete was cast in place, and all pipes and installations are set within the concrete slabs. The protruding balconies show the structural potential of the material. Elm wood adds a warm appearance, while large windows bring the surrounding nature inside. A swimming pool joins the geometric lines of the building with water. TIC Art Exhibition Center

TIC Art

Tic Art is an exhibition center designed as a public urban landmark. The design covers landscape, architecture, interior and products, and offers a comprehensive yet rhythmic spatial experience. Red bricks formed with 25 sets of molds are used across the building and the landscape, following the local clay brick tradition and lowering the construction cost. A double layer curtain wall combines ceramic bricks with a modern structural system, filters direct sunlight and reduces heat conduction. The building area is 8000 square meters and the landscape area is 16000 square meters.
